Kit is the tarot reader behind Hero Pragmatic Tarot. Kit designed Hero Tarot to highlight pragmatic tarot, an intuitive framework for understanding major and minor life questions. Kit is the only practitioner of pragmatic tarot. Living in Brooklyn, New York, since 2006 and originally from the Pacific Northwest, Kit uses their intuitive and perceptive abilities to connect clients with deeper truths and awareness.

Kit designed Hero Tarot to provide clients with flexible options for readings. Hero Tarot provides readings remotely. In-person readings may be available for groups around the country and overseas, and to long-time clients in New York City. A nonbinary person, Kit offers a neutral and inquiring approach to readings that is LGBTQ-aware and trauma-informed. Kit is white, and is committed to providing space for clients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds. Hero Tarot recognizes the harms of colonialism, capitalism, and patriarchal systems. Sliding-scale reading rates are available to individuals upon request.

On a personal level, Kit uses tarot as a framework to connect with intuition and perception, rather than as a predictive device. Kit has a background in adult learning and executive functioning support that informs their tarot practice. They are a parent and have over twenty years of experience in learning support, higher education, and consulting.
